Gary Losey

MINISTRY DIRECTOR

Gary Losey is the Ministry Director for One Heartbeat Ministries.  Gary began his ministry serving in three local churches over the course of 15 years.  He has also served as a Director of Development for Peoria Rescue Ministries and Director of Operations for the Rural Home Missionary Association.  Gary also served as International Ministry Director for Jose Zayas and was a Senior Crusade Director for North America with the Luis Palau Association.

Gary is motivated by seeing people meet Jesus Christ and helping them to grow in their relationship with Him.  As Ministry Director with One Heartbeat Ministries, Gary's greatest passion is using his gifts of administration and helps to facilitate One Heartbeat's mission to proclaim the Good News of Jesus Christ and see people discipled in their relationship with Christ.

Gary graduated from Moody Bible Institute and is still grateful for his growth in the Word of God.  His developed heart for reaching the lost takes him to the Peoria County Jail every Sunday where he shares the Gospel with inmates and encourages them to live for Jesus Christ.

Gary is an avid outdoorsman and enjoys kayaking, biking, hiking and gardening.  His recent hiking trip to the bottom of the Grand Canyon, as well as paragliding and ocean kayaking rank as one of his best memories.

Gary resides in Peoria, Illinois and is married to his lovely wife, Barbara.  They love spending time with their two grown children, Janelle and Tim, as well as their four grandchildren, Tyler, Dylan, Emily, and Joshua.
